Safety & COVID-19

What procedures does DRF have in place to maintain the health and safety of team members?

We are monitoring and following steps recommended by federal, state and local officials to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We have implemented best practices to mitigate risks and protect the health and well-being of our team members, customers, partners, and candidates.

Where possible, we have expanded our remote work policy for team members able to serve customers from home. In our offices, we have established maximum staffing and social distancing policies in line with federal guidelines. For all team members, we have instituted a process of daily temperature checks and self-certification that they are symptom-free at the beginning of each day; any team member with a fever or symptoms is asked to stay home and self-quarantine.

We have instituted increased cleaning protocols for our facilities and vehicles with a minimum schedule of disinfecting high-touch, high-traffic areas like door handles, office equipment, restrooms and breakrooms three times each day. Should we become aware of possible exposure, a professional cleaning service that meets CDC guidelines is brought in sanitize workspaces, common areas, and building entrances and exits.

Should I apply now or wait?

Recruiting and hiring continues as planned. In line with social distancing requirements, we are using virtual technology and other methods to keep hiring activity on pace during this time.

What can I expect during the screening and interview process?

Many interviews are being conducted virtually by phone or a video meeting platform. If you are invited to interview with us, we will provide details about what to expect.

Will I need to report to DRF’s offices?

The need for a new team member to work on site is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Whenever possible, we encourage team members to work from home and social distance to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

Our offices are being cleaned more regularly and workspaces are set up to safely practice social distancing. Equipment such as computers and telephones are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each shift.

Can I do my job virtually?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is involved in the hiring process for DRF?

After completing an application, candidates will be asked to complete an assessment test. Qualified candidates may be contacted for a video or face to face interview. Post offer, all candidates are required to successfully pass a drug screening and criminal background check. Additional background checks for positions operating a company vehicle will include a motor vehicle report and may also require a physical for a medical card.

When is a new hire eligible for health/welfare benefits?

New hires are eligible to enroll in the DRF health and welfare plans effective the first day of the month following 60 days of consecutive employment.

What is the permitted dress code or attire for employees?

Office staff enjoy the flexibility of wearing professional attire to casual attire on a daily basis.  Technical staff are issued DRF branded attire and must wear attire which adheres to the safety requirements for their position.

I have established a profile on the DRF career site; however, I am having difficulty now accessing that profile. What do I do?

If an option does not pop up requesting a password reset, please forward an email to careers@drftps.com, with “reset password” in the subject line.

What happens after I apply for a position?

Immediately after you apply for a position, you will receive an email confirmation of your submission and your record will be added to the DRF candidate database.

How do I make a request for a reasonable accommodation?

DRF will review all requests for accommodations on a case by case basis. All requests for accommodation should be submitted to careers@drftps.com, with “accommodation” in the email subject line.

How do I apply for a position that is not posted?

Applicants may submit a general resume; however, it is recommended that a candidate profile be completed in order to allow DRF recruiters to search candidates through the candidate database.

Do I have to submit a resume in order to be considered?

No.  When applying for a position, candidates have the option to proceed to complete the application without a resume.

What do I do if my profile email is no longer active?
